Ingredients:
- 6 ounces linguine or spaghetti
- 2 pounds (900g) large prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 fennel bulbs, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust according to your spice taste )
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large deep pot of salted water and a little bit of oil to boil the spaghetti. Add the linguine or spaghetti and cook until the spaghetti is boiled. Drain the pasta and set aside.
2. Prepare the prawns and fennel: Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and are cooked through. place the prawns on the plate and set aside.
